Some writers don\u2019t just create stories – they expand what stories are allowed to feel like. Theodore Sturgeon was one of those rare voices. A science fiction pioneer with a poet\u2019s soul, he wrote with radical empathy<\/strong>, deep strangeness and a love for the messy, magical spectrum of being human.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He didn’t care about shiny rockets or robot battles – he cared about feelings<\/strong>, identity and the moral evolution of the future<\/strong>. Sturgeon looked at humanity’s weirdness and said, Yes, this too belongs in the stars.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
