Our latest project takes us to the serene shores of Lake Mutanda in Uganda, where we’re designing an ecolodge, in harmony with its breathtaking surroundings. Inspired by a traditional construction technique based on Kasubi Tombs (yes, it’s UNESCO heritage and respectfully acknowledged), we infuse subtle references without claiming ownership.
At the heart of our design:
- Transition spaces that invite meditative experiences,
- The thoughtful use of low-carbon materials like bamboo and earth
- A commitment to self-sustainability
