Residency YADE is a small building that refuses hard edges. Five apartments and two commercial spaces sit behind a jade-green facade with rounded corners. We removed the corners so the volume turns rather than stops, and light slides across it. The jade skin shifts with the day, cool in morning shade and luminous when the sun crosses it. Each floor steps back from the one below, rising like a staircase made for the open air, giving every home its own terrace.
The building steps back to make room for an Infiltration basin. A ground-floor commercial space keeps the street alive, while the five apartments above follow a quiet logic of soft transitions and rounded reveals.
